We can't wait to bring you updated images of the gorgeous bar area, as well as the completed ceremony space later this month!

Behind the scenes, our state-of-the-art kitchens are ready to go! Our catering partners designed these with the sole purpose of providing the most amazing food possible for your special day.

Dressing to Impress!

Another month on and we have lot's of exciting updates on the build progress. Following the completion of the structure last month, the team have been hard at work finishing the gorgeous timber cladding around our beautiful new barn, as well as completing the elegant curved ceiling. We absolutely love how the huge windows allow so much natural light to flood the space. Your wedding photographer is going to absolutely love it!

Following the completion of the internal walls, flooring has been laid throughout the reception areas as well as the whole barn, with rustic wooden panels adorning the walls of this amazing space.

The Dressing Room is looking amazing! This is going to be such a fabulous place to spend the morning of your wedding, pampering, preening and prepping for the big day, beneath the big, bright skylights, with access to a private terrace and plenty of space for the whole squad!

The incredible array of unique light fixtures have arrived on site, along with the rustic wooden chairs, all ready to be added to the venue. So keep a look out for next months update!

Coming to Life!

Over the last month there have been HUGE changes at Foxtail Barns! The glass has been installed accross the site and the venue is quickly coming to life!

The stunning structure of The Orangery is now in place, with both the windows and the glass roof fully installed. This allows natural light to pour in, filling this enchanting space beautifully. At the same time, the special blue-glass reflects and absorbs the sun's heat, keeping you and your guests nice and cool!

This gorgeous room is destined to become a truly epic ceremony space, looking out onto the plush Walled Garden, it truly brings the outside-in (minus the wind and rain!), and your guests are going to absolutely love it!

Work is well under way on both the interior and exterior of The Party Barn. Rustic wood panels are quickly enveloping the outside of the structure, and it looks even better than we imagined! The wood adds so much character to the unique barn. On the inside, work on the amazing curved ceilings is well under way and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows are in place, ready for you and your lucky guests to look out across the beautifully lit pond, as you hit the dancefloor and party the night away on your special day.

Changes are happening so fast and it is so exciting! So, keep an eye out for our next update, coming soon!

We are hugely grateful to the fabulous James Andrew for the fantastic shots. Check out his wonderful wedding photography using the button below.

Ready for Glass!

Over the last month, snow has enveloped Foxtail Barns and the gorgeous gardens that surround the venue, and it is truly breathtaking! We are glad to report that it hasnt slowed progress on the site (apart from stopping to take the odd photo. Though who could resist when it looks so stunning!).

The structures are ready for installation of the big beautiful glass panels in The Orangery and The Party Barn at Foxtail Barns. The glass arrived on site last week and It's super exciting to see how quickly everything is changing now that the outer structure is almost complete!

With work well underway on the interior structure of The Party Barn, it's becoming easier than ever to visualise what a stunning venue Foxtail Barns will be upon completion and what incredible weddings will be celebrated here!

The Family Woodland Lodges have been placed in their forever home in The Wedding Woods and work has continued on the structure of The Tawny Hotel. Home of The Perch restaurant, this is where you will gather the morning after your wedding, with overnight guests, to enjoy a celebratory breakfast with a spectacular view!

The Roof Is On!

Another huge step in the journey took place in November with the roof now in place on our beautiful new barn. This double height space is going to look incredible next Summer when guests will be enjoying amazing food and celebrating in style beneath a canopy of captivating lights.

The timber frame of the barn is also taking shape, bringing to life the contemporary/industrial meets rustic styling that is unique to Foxtail Barns. With change happening at a rapid pace, every month the dream is quickly becoming a reality and we become more and more excited to see your reaction when you arrive for your special day at this epic venue!

The walled garden is already coming to life, with green grass flooding the space. The walls of The Orangery are also up and ready for the positioning of the beams. The view from inside this ceremony room is going to be absolutely spectacular!

Well Hello Barn!

The steel frame for the epic wedding reception barn at Foxtail Barns wedding venue has arrived! We are super psyched to see it onsite. You immediately get a sense of just how amazing this structure will be.

Seeing it in position also allows you to visualise the flow of your guests on the day and imagine their reaction on seeing this completed barn for the first time on your big day.

Dressing Room Revamp

In the last couple of weeks we've started revamping the Dressing Room, transforming it into a gorgeous space, you'll enjoy spending time in.

It won't be too long before this starts to look more like the amazing wedding prep space it will become. We'll keep you updated on this page!

Drum Roll Please....

The first of the Woodland Lodges have arrived onsite and they're every bit as quirky, exciting and cute as we'd hoped!

Staying overnight in one of these will be such an adventure, they're way more exciting than a hotel room. We love everything about them, the eye-catching design, the wilderness feel combined with the super stylish interior design hints. We're over the moon!

Staying overnight at a wedding have never been so much fun!

Walled Garden Taking Shape

These images were taken in July 2020 by the rather wonderful wedding photographer James Andrew. He lives close by and is happy to keep popping over for us to capture the build progress.

You can see that great progress is being made in the Walled Garden and you start to get a real sense of just how spacious this area will be. It'll be a stunning setting for those relaxed drinks reception shots.

Demolition Progress

You know that saying about needing to break a few eggs if you want an omlette...

That's pretty much where we're at. We've been demolishing some of the old structures onsite as well as working to preserve some of the useful existing buildings. Those of you that have visited the site know that the Dressing Room isn't too pretty to look at right now but it will be gorgeous once we've given it a much needed re-vamp.

Summer Sunshine

Whilst the Foxtail Barns site was being made ready for some new structures, the incredible Consall Hall Gardens Estate was also getting some love. Our specialist team started to clear the dead trees and specified areas of the gardens ready for the brand new woodland lodges.

These unique Woodland Lodges have been thoughtfully positioned so that their environmental impact is minimised but their outlook, towards these sensational gardens is maximised.

Spring 2020

About all you could count on in the Spring of 2020 was that the sun would rise every morning and set every evening. As the UK ground to a halt due to Government measures put in place to halt the spread of Covid-19, we were lucky that we were still in the initial phase of the build at Foxtail Barns. Our development pace slowed but some of the construction team could carry on, working outside in the glorious spring weather.

The bulk of the foundation work was completed and the site was prepared for the next phase of the build. The photographs below, taken in March 2020 show that we were able to clear the area that will become the walled garden.

Those of you that came to visit in January and February 2020 will recognise our temporary office. It doesn't look like much but together we filled it with love and dreams of your best day ever.

Woodland Lodges & The Setting

It was exciting to see the signposts up, marking out the position of the incredible Woodland Lodges that will be available to overnight guests attending your wedding. Set back but running parallel to the driveway, they'll make the perfect escape at the end of the celebrations.

Every time we arrive on site at Foxtail Barns, the setting takes our breath away. Foxtail Barns sits within the Consall Hall Gardens Estate and even though the gardens are in need of some love and tending, they are still breathtakingly beautiful!

See Where We're Headed

If you'd like to see where we're headed, what Foxtail Barns will look like upon completion, please check out the amazing virtual tour and visuals on our Gallery page.

It's going to be amazing! We're so excited to share this journey with you. Your ideas and wedding day dreams are a constant source of inspiration to us. You've helped to shape this purpose built barn wedding venue and we can't wait to celebrate with you.
