Check-in Times Vary

Check-in times for the Woodland Pods vary, please refer to your booking confirmation for the specific check-in time of the Woodland Pod you booked. It'll be either 12noon, 1pm or 2pm.

Early check-in requests cannot be accommodated. Thank you for your understanding.

Upon arrival at Foxtail Barns please park your vehicle in the car park, before making your way to The Tawny Hotel Reception. The team will confirm your Woodland Pod number upon check-in.

Woodland Guest Pods

There are 18 Doubles and 2 Family Woodland Pods, exclusively available for your wedding guests to book for the night of your wedding. Located within easy walking distance of the wedding venue, these quirky Pods are sure to enhance your guests' enjoyment of your big day.

Your guests will check-in at reception and be directed along a beautiful festoon lit path to their Woodland Pod, nestled into the wilderness and surrounded by nature.

Each lodge has a covered entrance and is fitted with cosy under-floor heating, gentle lighting and comfortable furnishings. Ensuring that your lucky guests will enjoy a great night's sleep following a fantastic day of celebrations.

Woodland Pod guests are welcome to join the Happy Couple for a delicious breakfast the next morning.

Please note: The sofa can be made up into a child’s small single bed, suitable for under 12s only. If you would like your sofa bed setting up for an occupant, please see 'Further Information' below.

Take a short stroll at the end of the wedding day celebrations to your chosen pod and experience our truly unique wedding night accommodation.

Family Woodland Guest Pod

Our 2 Family Woodland Pods are perfect for guests attending your special day, with children.

Sleeping up to a maximum of 5 people. these Family Pods have been designed with extra space in mind. They feature a King Size Bed, a Bunk Bed and a Sofa which can be made up into a small single bed.

These Pods also feature covered entrances and underfloor heating, whilst also enjoying a well positioned skylight for stunning views of the night sky.

The whole family can enjoy a great night's sleep, ready to enjoy a delicious breakfast the next morning with their fellow guests and the happy couple.

Accessibility

The Family Woodland Pods with a 2pm check-in has these additional features:

Ramp access on the approach to this Woodland Pod
Fold-down grab rail fitted next to the toilet.
Grab rail fitted next to the shower wall.

Please Note: Guests need to step over a 5" lip to gain access to this room. This room has standard size doorways unsuitable for larger wheelchairs.

Further Information

If you would like the Sofa made up into a small single bed for your stay, please ensure that you select the correct guest numbers when booking your Pod. This would be 3 guests when booking a double and 5 when booking a family Pod.

This will ensure that the sofa is made up as a bed prior to check-in and that the additional guest can enjoy breakfast the following morning.

Please Note: Dog's are not allowed to stay overnight in the Woodland Pods, (with the exception of assistance dogs.)
