Contained within the 18th century restored walls you will find lush greenery and beautiful blooms, complete with a Victorian style pergola and a serene pond. It has everything you need for the most magical Walled Garden Wedding.
Bringing The Outside In
As you walk down the aisle in The Orangery, a sensational panoramic view of The Walled Garden follows you as you are bathed in beautiful sunlight pouring in from the glass ceiling. This innovative glass structure, supported by rustic oak beams, blurs the boundaries between the inside and outside, really opening the room out onto the garden.
Feel The Breeze
Thanks to the bi-folding windows, which fully slide open giving the atmosphere of a Walled Garden Wedding ceremony. You can enjoy a gentle breeze through your hair, accompanied by subtle floral scents and the whispers of nature to appease all the senses. All in the comfort of a stunning indoor space, making it the perfect alternative to a Walled Garden Wedding.
Celebrate Outside
Following the ceremony, guests are invited out into The Walled Garden to celebrate. It is an idyllic space to hold a Drinks Reception, as it keeps everyone together in one place. Guests will enjoy a wander around the garden, admiring the gardener’s craftmanship, while socialising with some celebratory drinks. Enclosed within this beautiful private space is plenty of grassy areas perfect for a few garden games or activities to entertain guests. At Foxtail Barns, we never allow weather to dictate a wedding day, so should the weather not be quite accommodating, guests will enjoy mingling within the bar area and The Orangery, both of which look out onto the Walled Garden.
Stunning Snaps
One of the main attractions of a Walled Garden Wedding, is the endless photo opportunities. The characterful restored red brick walls and delightful floral displays make stunning backdrops for some incredible shots that you and your photographer will enjoy taking advantage of.
One of our favourite snaps we see here is those taken under the charming pergola that lights up at night. This opens the opportunity for some spectacular evening shots! The whole of the gardens illuminate at nightfall, which you are able to admire from the windows of the venue throughout your entire day, meaning you can enjoy all the characteristics of a Walled Garden Wedding, without the restrictions caused by the famous British weather.
