Wedding Planning Meeting

All details will be discussed at your Wedding Planning Meeting so that we can get a clear idea of how you want things to run on the day. We cover everything so we can get an understanding of what’s important to you. By doing this, it leaves you stress-free to enjoy all the delights your wedding day will bring, while we make sure everything runs smoothly.

Foxtail Barns will welcome you through its doors for your Wedding Planning Meeting approximately three months prior to your big day. We’d love to hold this meeting in person, however, we understand that this can sometimes be difficult for those who live further away or abroad, so we can also hold the meeting digitally using Zoom.

We will confirm your daytime and evening guest numbers and establish who your chosen key players will be. These are the individuals you know you can rely on to help you out during special moments on the big day.

For instance, it’s good for us to know who will be joining you in the morning in The Dressing Room, or who might be up for making announcements on the day.

These details help us to get an idea of how your day will run and this means we can put a comprehensive plan together to share with you. This plan is also great to share with your suppliers, as they may find it useful to know the day’s schedule. As always, we understand things can change and we can always adapt to any last-minute adjustments.

The further ahead you can book your suppliers, the better, as their diaries can get filled up really quickly! Should we need to directly contact any of your suppliers prior to the big day, it’s great if we have their contact details on hand, whose details we would really appreciate you bringing to your meeting.

We always really look forward to hearing all your ideas for styling the venue, and it’s great to work this out early on just so we can confirm that it is possible and works with the schedule. As the Orangery and Party Barn are already so stunning, even simple personal touches always look so effective.

If you wish, you can go really out-there with the decoration, however this may require an external venue dresser, as your wonderful Event Manager only has the morning of your wedding to place all of your personal touches.
