Please feel free to explore the wedding venue and its incredible walled garden on the big day, we’re sure you’ll be thrilled with the variety of amazing backdrops at this stunning venue.

Capturing Epic Moments
We understand that every wedding is unique and that you want to do something extra special for your lovely couple.
So we are extremely excited to share that you will have exclusive access to a chauffeured Wedding Buggy, to be used during the Drinks Reception. The Event Manager will take you and the happy couple to some of the most beautiful areas of the Consall Gardens Estate, which is also home to The Tawny Hotel.
We want to support you in capturing incredible shots amongst the stunning surroundings of Foxtail Barns and we know that we can count on you to ensure that guests of The Tawny Hotel will enjoy an uninterupted stay. It will not be possible to dress the buggy in any way.
The Wedding Buggy
We've laid out the perfect route for the Wedding Buggy, dropping you off and picking you up at the most spectacular areas of the gorgeous gardens. Here's a few more bits of useful info for planning your shoot.
- The Event Manager is the only person permitted to drive the buggy, they have a fabulous knowledge of the area and can give you top tips for shot locations.
- There are only enough seats for one photographer and the happy couple. So, if there's more than one of you, plan to meet on location in the gardens.
- The Buggy can only be used for one trip during The Drinks Reception. So, please ensure that you organise 'Drop Off' with the Event Manager ahead of time. Also ensure that you arrange 'Pick Up' or call the office for collection to return to the venue at least 10 minutes before the end of The Drinks Reception.
Confetti at Foxtail Barns
We allow biodegradable confetti to be used in specific areas of the wedding venue and the Wedding Specialist on duty will be happy to show you where we allow confetti to be thrown.
Please be aware that we do not allow confetti to be thrown outdoors when there is a risk of overnight frost.
We don’t allow confetti bombs, confetti cannons or any metal/foil confetti and we’d really appreciate it if you could work with us on this and intervene on our behalf if you see anyone about to launch a confetti cannon!
Let's Work Together
It’s really helpful if you can work with us to keep to the wedding timings we've agreed with the happy couple. We’re more than happy to share the timings with you in advance or on the day. Just ask us for a copy and we’ll email them over.
We generally allow an hour and a half for the drinks reception after the ceremony, before the guest are seated for the wedding breakfast which is the ideal time to get those intimate shots of the happy couple.
